Would you put mayo in a toasted cheese and ham sandwich?

No, I wouldn't use plain mayonnaise. I'd use mustard mayonnaise.

My wife's family puts mayo (or Miracle Whip) on their grilled cheese and grilled ham and cheese sandwiches.

I tried it...it's ok, but you gotta grill the sandwich first...then peel it apart and put the mayo on... so it's still cold.

That is completely disgusting... taking a perfectly good grilled cheese sandwich and putting that Miracle Whip nonsense on it. I would look into divorce if I were you. :laugh:
