Would you pay for an airline which does away with TSA's securiy for much laxer rules

Would yiou pay for my Braznor airline to fly this way?

  • Yep. with all the perks!

  • Nope: security is paramont (and how I love my crotch being rubbed by a TSA agent syndrome!)

  • Yep: I love this concept!

  • Nope: It sounds like a shitty business plan!

  • The government will shut you down before you know it, moron!

  • No, the terrorists will bring it down.

  • The public may initially go for it, but the liberal outcry shall shut it down.

  • No, your costs will be too high!

  • It's not possible. It cannot be a dream come true.

  • All hail Braznor!

.. of it own?

You would be allowed all sort of things:

You will be able to open bottles bought from duty free from all over the universe.

Special men and women's flight which shall not be identified specifically at the passenger's request shall feature young and nubile scantily clad 18+ females and males as air hosts and hostess.

Use your cellphones all you want at cheap rates

Surf porn online and nef too

Tapped beer.

The guns and knives you might carry are checked in with the captain's cabin and personally handed to you by smiling chicks/dudes on your way out.

The catch is just 25% to your ticket price or perhaps no increase at all if I bid cheap on oil futures? :\

Would you travel anywhere by such an airline?

Only if I'm stupid enough to risk my own personal safety. There is a reason why the TSA exist as it is right now.

Charter a plane for your flight and you can do pretty much whatever you want...no security to worry about at all.

But where will you fly on this airplane?

It's for damned sure, the US Government agencies won't allow it anywhere near US airspace...Maybe China or some of the other "developing nations" will allow it...but maybe not.

So all of you are upright enough to say aerostrip joints shouldn't exist?

Any popular route that shall allow it.

Maybe the plane takes of with fully clothed burkha clad hostess and hosts in Dubai and they disrobe in midair on their way to Thailand or Aussie or HK.

That might work once...but once word gets out...the second the hostess removes the burkha...the bomb goes off.

You live in some kind of a fantasy world, don't you? You always post this kind of "what if" threads...

Yeah, I like what if scenarios because I'm writing on a book based on branching of parallel dimensions.

:hmm:

Buts its not a question of zero security, there will be some profiling, even politically incorrect ones and also a sturdy but relaxed security check.

This won't work for a couple of reasons:
1. If you get rid of the security you won't be able to fly to any locations where people actually want to fly.
2. The last thing I want to do on a flight is sit for hours next to somebody yelling into their cellphone while surfing obese midget amuptee bestiality porn
3. 25% is insane. Why would I pay hundreds more for a few hours?
4. Your idea of bidding low on oil futures won't work. If it did all the airlines would do it and end up with prices even lower than yours

Poorly thought out, to say the least.

Oh god. It's people like you that allow America to head in the direction it's heading today.

Are you serious?

What was wrong with private security in the 90s, might I ask?

I'll prefer, and pay extra for any travel options that don't infringe on my liberties. The joke of a bureaucracy that is the TSA doesn't make me feel safer; it makes me feel resentful that I'm paying these jokers to fuck me over. I'll take my chances with the terrorists, and enjoy my life thank you....

I think if one and only one airline avoided TSA security that would be the one targeted by any asshole with a bomb. Terrorist, psycho, dumbass with tinfoil hat, whatever.

Also, Big Brother would nail you anyway.

Exactly!

I do like the part in the OP about the "liberal outcry" -LOL - you know it was GW and the Neocons that started all this bullshit, right? Fake Conservatism FTL.

You could do all that stuff and be safer if you implemented safety measures that actually made sense and nothing beyond that. Criminal background checks before ticket purchases, profiling, searches based on logical criteria rather than random. You could nearly eliminate the things that annoy people about the TSA and be safer as well.
