I don't play CS anymore, but that was one of the reasons I like it, it was free. I could easily talk all my friends into playing a game that was free.

I don't play the game, but if I did I would pay a small monthly fee for high-quality servers (performance, booting of cheaters, serious community). Same for any other online game. Say five, maybe ten bucks a month for something I'd play often and could stand the improvement? Yep. And I'd pay the same on top of normal subscription fees for MMORPGs. Of course I'd only do this for one or two main games, for the rest I'd stay with free (basic) services.

I would not. In theory it would be worth a few bucks monthly for me to contribute to the expense of good servers and anti-cheating measures, but I have yet to deem any major publisher as trustworthy of subscription.

Give 'em an inch and they become A.T.&T., milking every dime the law allows from their customers.

I love cs and have played it for years, there is no way id pay, and they wont ask us to, at least, not for a long time.

No, its pretty much the only game I play ATM though. Either way I wouldn't pay to play any game after I've already bought it. Thats one reason I don't play MMO's.

If it didn't cost money to buy the game in the first place, yes i would.

I don't mind MMOGs because i know that costs of running the server isn't cheap... whereas games like CS, i can host it on my own computer.

I wouldn't mind if games like CS had costs per use... kind of like an arcade. To play for the day, it would cost like $0.50 or something like that.

no and I won't be buying Socom3 because they're going to charge.

Monthly fees are a scam. I used to think they weren't but I now see them for what they are.
