would you pay $5.50/month w/ banners to post on an internet site?

it's not any specialty site, just like any other online messageboard but with a lot of members, but in order to get Avatars, Custom User Text, Signatures, ability to see other's profile, search function, and higher than 5 Private Messaging allowance you have to pay $5.50/month or $6.50/month without banners.

and if you don't pay and try to post av-less, all the members who pay to post give you crap.

would you do it? do you pay for membership to any site on the net?

This one site I paid $20 for a year membership. Why? Becuase mma needs the money and the mods there are cool.

More support for a 'cause' then getting anything back of any perticular 'added value' for the membership fee. It was also only $20 a year.

I got html features and I could post pics in the thread.
