Would you pay $30k for speakers cables?

No, never. Cable is cable, just keep surrounding noise in mind and your fine, you dont need 30k+ cables to have good sound.

I like the DLP projector that costs as much as a house.

I want to be the guy that owns that business, where each sale means he gets a new porsche.

I wouldn't pay $30K for cables, but I can see myself spending a few thousand to wire a good HT system.

I have blisters on my fingers from making cable, I finally finished one 6' cable.

One down, a whole lot more to go.

Granted $250K is a sh!tload of money, but this isn't a $999 Dell.

5000 ANSI lumens, 1100:1 contrast ratio, 3 chip DLP, & 1280x1024

Example of the closest thing I could find, still not as good
It's priced exactly at MSRP

This is pushing into digital theater level, ie the kind of theater Stars Wars ep II was released in.
