Fvck Jordan & Nike, they're rich enough. :|

I'll spend my hard earned money on something else.

They are not really shoes for wearing, they are for showing off to your friends. Also, Nike even said its mainly for attracting customers.

Nope. (And not just because my wife works for adidas.)

But there are lots and lots of people that will.

The most expensive pair of shoes I've ever bought were an $80 pair of DC's. Two years later and I still have them. Screw Nike.

I'd buy 'em if they included Jordan's autograph on both shoes and an airtight case to store them in. :)

I'd rather have an autograph of the 12-year old sweatshop kid who made them for 25 cents a day.

gawd no, $200 for shoes? only if they were gold or platinum

I dunno about airtight, but it does come in a silver metallic case apparently
all the better for my parents to beat me with if I ever came home with a pair.
Besides, I suck at basketball

However, as for the people who do buy these shoes, I know this guy who's parents have bought him every version of the Air Jordan that have been released since he was a little kid, irregardless of how new his other ones were

I have a pair of asics that cost $65, have lasted me 3 years, and going strong
but I splurged on some shox b/c I think they look cool- even those were only $90

OT: what do you all think of the Kobe 2's? MOON SHOES

I don't think these shoes are worth it. At least it comes with a briefcase.
The last time I spent that much on basketball shoes was when I paid 220 for a pair of Charles Barkley II Air Maxes.
They were very nice basketball shoes, but lasted like only 6 months. Should have saved them for only when I played on the team instead of wearing them everywhere.
