Would you pay $110 for a bowl of ramen?

Ramen barely qualifies as food. You'd get as much nutritional value out of a Snicker bar. I'll take the $100 bottle of scotch that last longer than 10 minutes ;^)

err... you understand people are talking real ramen and not instant noodle right?

Ok, a little better than I thought, but it's still only 1/2 a meal. The most I'd pay is $10-$15, and that would only be once for the experience.

Well, you don't really eat ramen for its nutritional value. It's mostly high in carbs, fat, and sodium, just like most other convenient/fast foods.

It certainly is a full meal though and fills you up (assuming a decent portion size)

And no, I don't think I'd try a $110 bowl of ramen.

half a meal? the bowls are huge. those are nearly 2 meals. unless you're a giant fatass, which we all know you're not as this forum is only accessible by men who make tom brady look like fat elvis.

I've paid as much as $15 for a bowl of ramen, it was pretty damn good. $110 is a lot, it would have to be orgasmically good. 😛

You did notice op said overpriced right? No sane regular mortals eat those 100 dollar ramen regularly.

Yea, that's why I answered. NO food is worth $100 to me. I'd rather have whisky. It lasts much longer, and I'd get more enjoyment from it. I've paid $25 for a glass of scotch, and $170 for a bottle. The glass was a dubious purchase, but the alternative was paying over $200 to get my own bottle. In the end, worth it for me.

Was the Scotch at least good?

It was Macallan 25yr. It was good, but I prefer the 15yr, or 18yr tbh. It was just a little too dry for my tastes. I'm glad I got it though. I had been looking at the bottle for a couple of years, but was never ready to part with the money for it. I finally saw it in a bar, and $25 seemed like a good way to try it out. The only thing that pissed me off a bit, was I think they used a 1oz shot. 1.5oz is standard, and cool places will just pour a bunch in a snifter; usually well over 1.5oz :^)
