Would you pay 10 million dollars for this?

I can just imagine the guy going up to the USPS counter and saying he wants to insure his package for $10 million. 😉

They really can't expect anyone to bid on that without detailing each and every guitar. Even if a lot of them are from the 50's and 60's, it's still not worth $10M.

That's a terrible auction description. It doesn't say what guitars there are, and only tenuously implies that the guitars in the picture are the ones you get.

Got to be. Even if the guitars were really worth $10 million they would not be worth that in a single collection. He'd need to parcel them in ones and twos because the number of people that would want the entire collection and be able to afford the entire collection would be near zero.

Are you insane? 😕

Does this happen to be your auction? 😛

No details and 20k shipping on top of a 10 mill opening bid? You would have to be nuts to bid on this.

i think the auction is actually for the photo, not the guitars.

I thought that too but then figure it was prob mis-worded because he would be an idiot to try to defraud 10 million CAD with such a horrible description to begin with.

I wouldn't pay 10 million for every guitar in the world.

As Fender alone sells $400 million a year that would make you a huge dumbass.

What the fuck would I want with a guitar?

I think he meant that the company Fender makes 400mm a year selling guitars so you would be a moran to not pay 10 million for every guitar in the world because you would essentially be giving up a ton of money even if you liquidated every guitar through a fire sale.

Yeah, but one problem. I don't have $10 million 🙁

Maybe if the guitars were used by someone famous and all were signed but then again you don't go through ebay for that kind of stuff.

WTF?

If it were legit, this sort of thing would be at Christies or Sotheby's.

Like Mugs said, fail description = fail auction.
