well, i lived in Ireland for years - the Irish like to drink; that is well known as many other cultures do
- and their weddings and Wakes are a celebration of a person's life - which includes passing and remembrance of the person who is supposedly passing on to a better existence.

But many - and i would say most cultures - have similar celebrations of life and death
