In a few years when I am in my mid thirties I am going for city council.
If you know a lot of people it's not hard to get the petition squared away for your canadicy here.

I would run for local because then I could actually make a difference. I would never want to be a senator or congressman because the system is so stacked from the top down that one representative isn't going to make a difference and there is the odd coincidence that the radical democrats tend to be much more likely to die in a private plane crash.

I have no criminal history I smoked plenty of weed but I dont see how this would matter nowdays, All up and own my street you can buy weed in stores (if you have a card) Even saw a cop toking up riding a bike lol.
I don't see how having a shady past can hurt too much unless your a felon, I guess it CAN help to have a rich daddy though 😉

But im only 21...so lots of years to have a career...then consider.

I think the government could use some fresh ideas and good management.

I dunno...i think in the next 100 years of so...there will be a select few countries with clean water, large oil supplies, and resouces. If we make friends with the right people...we could have significant leverage in the future. At this point...yeah...we are basically the US's b!tch.

I truely hope we can get some leadership that can help canada become more of a player on the international stage. Not just for knocking horns with the US. Can only do so much with a little.
