You know... I'd like to say no, I wouldn't.

However, human nature is tricky business. I honestly don't know.

The thing about marrying for love is there is no guarantee that a few weeks, months, or even years from now, you or your partner will still share that love. You may come home one day to the woman or man that you love to find some guy's dick in their ass.

Until reliable mind control / reading becomes available I'm not wasting another marriage license on love.

I'm pretty sure money can buy experience and knowledge/education.

Education does not improve smarts...or real knowledge...it only provides as much education as the person is capable of absorbing.

If she's dumb as a bag of hammers, (or box of rocks) then all the edumakation in the world isn't gonna make her smart. (ATOT has many such living examples...people with good book-learnin...who are still dumb as a stump.)

hell yes...
If I was as rich as rockerfeller, I can have a team of super brilliant people under me to engineer me any random weird thing think of.
Plus as mentioned, there's plastic surgery, and if she's so dumb, it'd probably be easy to cheat on her.

Lulz, so you'd advocate stealing from someone. Class act, you and everyone who is saying I'd cheat on someone cuz they're dumb. Classless and huge character flaw.

Up In The Air was a good movie.... I couldn't believe that chick was married... wow... this thread made me think of that, not sure why.

Uh...if they're marrying for money, class and character weren't on the top of the list to begin with. That said, if I was dirt poor I would. Poverty sucks.

If you asked me ten years ago I would have said no, but now I would for sure.

KT

Edit: the more I think of it, I probably would still say no, just for different reasons than ten years ago. None of that silly love crap that I used to believe in.

No ... money has never made me happy. Looking back on my life my happiness level has been inversely proportional to my level of happiness. The more money I have the less happy I seem.

Go figure ...

Paypal me all of your money and you can be extatic!! 😛

"I am so happy I am standing beside myself!"

nope; I'd rather sleep like a baby than worry about people trying to screw me out of money 😛

not to mention that I place a higher premium on intelligence/intellectual curiosity and personality than money or looks

I'd actually be more interested in how women answer this type of question vs men. I bet women are much more likely to say yes.

Not this woman. Money comes and it goes, often many times over the course of your lifetime. Having a spouse who actually gives 2 shiats about you? priceless. Having my husband makes me the richest woman in the world, Imho.
