Just reading the flamefest in the CC debt thread where luvly and (I forget who else) are going at it. I don't know why this raised the question for me (maybe it was the sperm donor references) but...
Assuming you are single now, would you let your future S.O. read through the archives and see everything you've posted? What are your feelings on that idea? (Do you cringe or shrug?)
If you're not single, do you let your S.O. read through (have you even told them about the forums? do they want to see what you posted? do they have any idea what it's like to post someplace like this?)
For me, anything I post is fair game for my S.O. now or in the future. I want to be open with who I am with him, even the flaws, faults, prejudices, and things that might not make him happy. I cringe a little bit, probably unreasonably so, about what he might think of some of the things I've said (nothing in particular comes to mind) but there's nothing I'd restrict.
