A friend of mine told me his sister likes me, but he doesn't want me to do anything about it. Would you let your friends date your sister? I'm 5 years older than her, btw.

I'm dating one of my band members, and good friend's, sister. Even wrote a song called "Jake, I'm Sleeping With Your Sister." So, I guess to avoid being a hypocrite, I have to say yes.

do it. why would he tell you that his sister likes you? to instigate you and see if you'd be a true friend? maybe just become close friends with his sister, and take it from there. when he realizes that his sister and you are truly close, maybe he won't get in the way.
