This thing smells like shit. I *must* have it :^D
He did not want to let the skunk go.
Not strictly advisable, was it? And yet, I just couldn't have driven on, doing nothing. I wouldn't have been thrilled to be risking a skunking, but I couldn't have turned my back, either. I just couldn't have.
Coming to the aid of people or animals in peril or distress . . . it isn't a matter of wanting to be a hero, it's a matter of living with myself if I didn't.
It comes down to this: I refuse to live in fear, and I refuse to turn my back on those in peril, even a skunk.
You?
what I do for the skunk or not would'nt be motivated by fear.
Also physically impossible to let go of a skunk while holding down it's tail.![]()
Really? A 3:1 ratio of help to no help? Yeeeaaahhh.
you were honest. A whole bunch just look at the question and move on. It will have a skew because those who care will tell you all about itReally? A 3:1 ratio of help to no help? Yeeeaaahhh.
I already have.

It had a cup on its head so it couldn't see where it was going.
Also I've never smelt a skunk, how bad can it be?
It's not a bad smell imo, but it's *INTENSE*, and doesn't want to go away. I've never had the /pleasure/ of a closeup demonstration, but I've smelled them in the road, and it travels a long way.
Any common items that smell similar to give me an idea?
Strong marijuana is the closest I can identify. Seems like there's some varieties of boxwood that have that scent also, but I haven't been able to reliably confirm that. It's earthy, musky, and has an almost metallic tone to the scent. I can't really compare it anything very common.
