I'm not sure about the google employee leaving for facebook. As for windows mobile, there's no app on that OS that is worth anything. WinMo facebook is downright terrible. Also I used Windows MyPhone sync recently and it deleted all my photos. I'm done with WinMo, altogether, I'm not waiting for WinMo7 either.

To say there are no apps on Windows Mobile worth anything is untrue. There's quite a few good Twitter apps, Bing Mobile is solid especially with its new turn by turn navigation, and there are plenty of perfectly serviceable cross platform apps like Slacker and Sportypal.

Also, MyPhone is a great service, I've never had any issues with it, and more mobile systems need to be doing things like that.

I think MyPhone app is a great idea, but it didn't work for me.

My text messages used to be threaded, but when I backed up the messages, it got all jumbled up. So I'm pretty unhappy about that.

Then when it came to syncing photos, for some reason it took the old photos from MyPhone Online account and overwrote my new photos on my cell phone. So instead of updating, it deleted, I was pretty pissed off about that.

No I don't really want an iphone. My Motorola Droid is just fine on Verizon. ATT sux around here for service, but if it didn't I probably wouldn't consider it anyway.

While I don't think the iPhone is the best thing since sliced bread, I have an iPod touch with a ton of games so if the iPhone did come to Verizon I'd likely get that instead of an Android phone just because I'm in so deep already. :D That's how they get you. Anything is better than my old Blackberry Curve 8330 at this point though.

I'll gladly get the iPhone LTE model on Verizon when it comes out in about a year.

To add to that, I had a 3G iPhone on AT&T and jumped over to Verizon for the Droid when it came out since I couldn't take AT&T's network suckage.

That said, I miss my iPhone on a regular basis since I use it heavily for work and the Droid sucks compared to the iPhone when it comes to Exchange mail, calendar, contacts and notes.

Do you really think Apple will launch an LTE iPhone in a year? I'd say they're going to wait for Verizon to have the network fully rolled out and running for a while - that might be a year right there.

They'll release a Verizon iPhone, but it probably will lack LTE. They'll sell a bunch, then sell another one to the same people 6-12 mos later. Just like the 2G/3G situation. It was genius. People bitched, but they still bought.

I voted "no" in the poll and have an Evo on the way, but I do admire Apple's business model.

LTE is vaporware. They will delay it as long as possible and who knows if it will work in mass market. In fact I am kind of in shock that Wimax even works.
