stick
its all about personal preference though.....mostly whether or not you find shifiting annoying or not
I don't, I love it, makes the driving experience considerably more enjoyable for me.
I've always driving a stick, and I always will.

A geezer car should not have a stick, they have a hard time driving an auto as it is

The CTS is not a "geezer" car. I actually sort of like 'em...I like the BMW and maybe the G35 better, but the CTS isn't bad. Oh, and stick of course. The only thing I'd get an auto in is an SUV or truck because every shifter I've tried in those applications felt loose and unpleasant to use.

It depends where you live. Although I've never driven a stick, my uncle uncle curses it all the time, since he's usually sitting in traffic or something in or around NYC...

Auto... something about the idea of being able to sit back and coast when you have a caddy.

In a car like that I would get an auto because I would only be using it for cruising not driving.

Granted it's rear wheel drive, but I'd rather have an auto in a Cadillac. There will be another car built on this same Sigma platform and share many Corvette characteristics. With that car I will get the manual.
