🙁

Not really. He would just be an extremely small guy who's chest would probably be as wide as he is tall. A true miniature superhuman. 😛

Truly miniature. For someone of that weight to bench that much, he'd be overweight for his size by far due to muscle mass. So, we're looking at MAYBE 4' max, probably closer to 3'6". 😛

There you have it. Our dude is 3'6.

It would take some crazy circumstances to get me to actually fight someone, he'd have to do some serious ill to provoke me. But if he did, the fact that he could bench 250 would not deter me, how much you bench doesn't mean shit for how well you fight. I'd have the advantage because of longer reach, and bigger body weight.

edit. pfffT! lol

I did 210 @ 103 so I believe that.

I never really noticed a correlation between fighting ability and the number of pounds someone could bench press. What I have noticed is that people who spend an excessive amount of time bench pressing and grunting tend not to be very fast - they build up the wrong type of muscle fibers. Punching takes speed, not necessarily strength, and some weight behind the punches. Wrestling, of course, does rely more on physical strength, with some speed. Nonetheless, at 100 pounds, I'd punt him into next month.

Don't mess with chimps. Or clowns, for that matter*.

Or Elmo, that scary bastard who appears on public television and threatens to stab you when no one is looking.

I fail to see how what a guy benches has anything to do with fighting ability, outside being able to lift and throw your ass to the curb. Besides strength, speed, precision and agility come into the picture, much more, IMO. 😎

I've known some very strong, but really slow guys.

First off, there is a difference between "he could bench 250" vs "he benches 250". I'm 185lbs and could probably bench 300 if I tried but I would probably only be able to do 1 rep... but what I really bench is 200's when I hit the gym. I'm just saying this to make a point to those calling shens that a lightweight can in fact bench 250 given the circumstances. The OP on the other hand prob meant the latter in which case if I were a fighting man, yes I would fight him if I had to since I could bench 250 too and have a weight (and most likely reach) advantage over him among other things. If he's 100 lbs then he most likely weak in all the other areas and lack endurance.

I was 110 for a very long time, could simply not gain weight. Since I joined the Gym and started following the McDonald's diet, I've hit 125 in less then 6 months! It really works! Call now!

Yep. Short people have a much easier time benching than tall skinny guys. I hope so, anyway..makes me feel better.. 😛

100 pounds? He probably benches 250 with short stubby midget arms that do a entire 8 inches up and down and calls that a bench press.
