She bought me very nice Movado watch for our anniversary. However, it looks very girly.. because the band is thin and has holes in it. I can't find it on Movado.com but here's a pic

The face of the watch is nice, as I have the same watch (though my band is thicker and has no holes.)

As to whether you should exchange it, that'd depend on your relationship with your woman. My g/f wouldn't mind me going to get another Movado watch with a nicer band.

when she gave it to me, she said do you like the band? it's unique. all the other watches had solid bands.

Exchange it, but do so knowing she will bring it up every chance she gets as long as you to are together!

that doesnt look girly to me, but if you don't like it, just tell her NICELY that it's really not the style you normally wear and ask her if you can both go togehter to pick out another nice watch!

Just wear it. I didn't play a copy of battlefield 1942 my girlfriend got me for almost a year and I heard about it like every month. I'd rather get flack about wearing a pink watch or something then have to deal with the guilt trip when I didn't wear it.

Exchanging it probably is a no win either. Who cares anyway, its just a watch.

Damn, you might be screwed then. I'd say at least wear it for a few days and see if you end up liking it after awhile. If she got it from Movado directly, then I believe it shouldn't be too hard to exchange it.

If after a few days you know you won't like it, then bring this up to her, thanking her for trying to find something different for you, but explain that you are just having trouble getting used to such a different band and would prefer another one.
