No I would not. No way. No how. It wouldn't actually make my GF happy. She might think it would make her happy to get me to watch something like that with her. She'd be wrong. I would get bored and cranky, and we'd end up in a fight.

She used to ask me to do stuff like that. I'd tell her no. She'd try to convince me. I'd lay out exactly what would happen. It would happen. She'd cry. She now realizes that it's not a good idea. Peace.

I watch movies with Yoyoyohowsdajello that he wants to watch, and he'll watch a movie with me that I want to watch. We watched the Notebook together because I'd heard it was good. It was a sweet movie, and Jello seemed to think it was alright, too. We made fun of the beginning a lot, because it was super corny, but the ending was good.

Edited for clarity.

I don't think I could stomach it, so I wouldn't expect my SO to watch it either. Maybe we'd try it if it was on tv for free, that way we're not out anything when we turn it off.

Um... sure why not? Doesn't hurt to do something nice once in a while. As long as she's not being a pain in the ass about it.

You watch it once and you will be expected to watch it again and not only that but OTHER films like this.

Plus, shes just a gf now. Wait to ask something like this when you have a wife.

I'm not atracted to girls who like trash like that. I would watch better chick movies to please a gf, though.

Can you watch, breathe through your nose, and not gag for 120 or so minutes?

Np but I did see Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants last night. It was a very introspective movie about friendship, loss, and coming of age.

I've already watched the notebook and thought it was a wonderful movie.
It actually made me shed some tears too.

If your BF won't watch the movie with you, this is a red flag concerning the relationship.

This is such an ignorant comment that I thought I would point it out.

I am married and wont watch that crap, yet I spoil my wife.

Yes, red flag.
