would you ever use this alarm clock?

I like to snooze the alarm clock twice, and I build it into the schedule so I'm not late. So no, I wouldn't use that alarm clock.

I've slept through smoke alarms, so this thing would get expensive.

It only charges you when you hit Snooze...if you just let it continue to go off, it won't charge you.

Cute idea.

I really hope but people realized, but maybe not - the product is an April Fool's Joke if you try to actually buy it.

I think it would be cooler to have a clock that actually detonates, so that every time you snooze too much or are late for work you have to buy a new clock (and maybe a new nightstand).

Yep, they're well-known for their April Fools products.

Edit: Turns out, that's a real product. But it does mention their notoriety for April Fools products.

I'd like an alarm clock that b*tch slaps me across the face and yells, "WAKE UP A$$HOLE!!" Simple, but effective.

I think it'd be easier to make a clock with a wire that delivers a jolt of electricity to your nutsack. It could catch on but for all the wrong reasons: it might be mildly titillating.
