just looked on Dells site, the 2001fp is 1000 bones

went onto Ebay and checked, they have units for 750 buy now.....the listings say they are new, not refurbs...and have a dell 3 yr warranty with them

Do you guys think there is a catch to this ? the sellers have high ratings and alot of sales...just wondering since i am in the market for a new monitor...the one i have sucks donkey balls

If not the Dell 2001fp are there any other LCD monitors which you would recommend or that are coming out in the near future ?

thank you in advance

also why does dell have it cheaper at the small business section vs home section...kinda seems silly...sorry for lame questions

Why buy from Ebay for $750 + $50 shipping when you can buy direct from Dell for $799 with free shipping? You may not be able to return the Ebay model to the seller if it didn't work or had too many dead pixels. You could do that buying direct from Dell.

Anyone can buy from the small business section. They have promotions all the time for the SB section. That's where 95% of the Dell deals in the Hot Deals forum come from.

I understand your point, and your right...I was just curious since I am uber cheap...so lets say I get one off of Ebay ( assumed new) and I get it for say 600 - 650 and shipping is 50 you save money and possibly still have dells warranty

that is what I am getting at :)
