Would you eat sour cream past its best before date?

I just ate about 100grams of sour cream which was 2 weeks past its best before. It tasted fine. Am I going to die?

Yes. Last I heard sour cream was not the key to immortality.
 
You actually get more for your money by letting it sit longer. Then it's like double sour cream.

I've eaten Yogurts 3 months past the expiration date. I'm still fine. Mostly.
 
it's already sour, so I figure as long as there's no mold you're probably golden, and even then you'd probably be alright..?
 
First rule of ALL food : sniff. You come from a genetic line hundreds of thousands of years in length based on this simple rule. Count on it first.

Rule of recently expired food, if passing sniff test : scrape off the top for taste, rest is fine.

What if I want to eat a durian?
 
I ate some last night that was dated Sept 9, 2009.

No diarrhea & no death for me.

I did throw it out after using it, b/c it basically had the consistency of white-out.
