Sports car sure. Family sedan or Econo sedan no!

Ferrari
Lambo
Mustang
Viper
Corvette

all look really good in yellow!

I was looking at an econobox.
<--- not rich.

If it were a tasteful yellow, I wouldn't have a problem with it...especially if you're cost-conscious (as econobox shoppers usually are)

Then again, I'm the sort that doesn't really care what other people think of me...so my views may be a little skewed

You should buy a pink car.

I had one at one time actually.
It was a pile of crap.

Hand in your man card before you exit the forum. Thank you. :p

You'd be surprised at how many men drive the "pink" cars. I see at least one a week at work, though I work where the pink cares originated from.

Dude, there are plenty of cars that look OK in yellow and are not way out of reach in pricing. For examples: Preludes, BMWs, Neon SRTs, Tiburons (newer), WRXs, EVOs, etc... and I would drive any of them.

and punchbuggies :D (old vw beatles for those of you who arent cool enough to know what a punchbuggie is)

edit: i see that nakedfrog already mentioned that yellow punchbuggies are hawt, high five man... and a i'll give you a  to let me drive it around the block.

We always called them slug bugs.

So, yes.

What about a VW camper bus thingy?

Tolerable, I suppose.

We always called them slug bugs.

When I was a kid in Utah, they called them Punch Buggies, but everywhere else they've been Slug Bugs.

If it was given to me I'd have it repainted. If it was such a good deal that repainting included kept it a good deal then sure I'd buy it. But no, I hate yellow (and orange) and wouldn't own/drive one any longer than absolutely necessary.
