depends on the boss and the policy. If he is a cool dad and a cool boss and he likes you then maybe he wont have a problem with it..he might even welcome it. But if he is a hard dad and a mean boss i would say pass. Also your work place might not allow it.

Depends how much respect I had for my coworker. If I had none, I'd do it in an instant. If I had some, I'd probably ask for his approval ahead of time.

Call me old-fashioned.

I went out once or twice with the daughter of a coworker back when I was in highschool. They were cool about it.

For most situations I would say no, but I can think of a few scenarios where I would go for it.

If I didnt care about the Co., and wouldnt mind changing jobs.

A friend of mine was dating the daughter of an Army Colonel and got to be pretty good friends with her father (he had 2 other daughters).

After a while my friend, his son-in-law and the Army Colnel got together to go camping for a few nights. My buddy reported that on the way up to the fishing spot the father said, "Usually when guys get together they talk about P-ssy....In this case, I don't think it'd be a good idea...."

If you date her - watch what you say at work....

Is the coworker your boss and does the daughter live at home? If so then bad idea otherwise just make sure you treat her nice otherwise you may have to deal with crap at work

pics foo... then....

I'd only enter this if you have the honest and noblest intentions for the guy's daughter....

If you want to just hit it then quit it, I'd suggest you keep that little thing in your pants otherwise things can get very ugly in your life.

this reminds me EXACTLY of situation at work...boss is a 50 something whos daughter is off at college and comes to visit every so often. My boss is awesome though, hegoes out to the bars and strip clubs with us, jokes about his daughter going out with the nerdy guys at work (including myself :p).
So first time i met her she was here for like a month living with him, well he goes off on a business trip for a couple days and that week we went out to lunch, nothing major, just cause she had nothing to do while he was away really. Second time she comes down we suggest she goes out to the bars, well her dad tags along so it was kinda funny. End of the ngiht though she says next time she is here we are going out without him ;) lol
So i say if the boss is cool guy and he likes you it wouldnt hurt to ask him. Dont try and do it behind his back thouh.

Go for it. Does your coworker like you?
