Wow, I didn't even know this was still around. I thought we'd ridiculed it into oblivion.

Truth. I wonder how much money they're making off these things .. 10 dollar NICs sold for hundreds of dollars.

I have one of these cards. I bought it for the development and the gawk factor but it is a better NIC than the Intel Gigabit PRO adapter it replaced.

Also, you should understand a bit about what it is before saying its a 10 dollar nic. If you tried to buy the parts for it then it would probably cost you somewhere around 130 dollars. It is nothing short of a PC on a board.

The drivers are great in Vista64 and XP32, the gaming mode reduces my pings through shit BellSouth/ATT DSL in North Central Florida ( who travel to MIAMI then jump to ATLANTA ) by 20ms. Seeing how I would get crap pings to even Orlando that weren't much different than pings to Texas it was a showstopper for me in CS:S and DoD.

Its the most advanced NIC on the market for consumers. Except for the price its a great card. Not necessary for some people but I would have to go buy a Cable Modem for 80 bucks and switch to Cable to get the speeds I get of my DSL with the card which wasn't an option when I bought the card ( cable co. here was crap then ).

How does this NIC make your DSL run faster?

Yeah, I second that question.

I just wish I had thought of making this crappy cheap product to sell for hundreds of dollars.

There's suckers born every day, the way to get rich is to take advantage of that fact and separate fools from their money.

And furthermore, after reading this post and many of your other posts on the gaming board here, you're starting to tread into crazyland.
