Would you commit to a relationship with a hot girl?

I read the thing about the ladder theory and the more you think about it, the more fvcked up it seems, how women really want the guy with the money/power. Why not just kill the bastad and take the money, not even have to have sex with the typical fat, bald rich guy. If you think about it, they just want the money, not the guy. And to be honest, there's no way in hell I would want to commit to a long term relationship with somebody who's primarily interested in my money (which I dont actually have yet, but I'm 24 and I happen to be a good loking guy so I'm not complaining). The only sensible thing to do it seems is to hook up with the girl , and then move on to the next one. But that kind of attitude is not gonna work when you get old, so how do you deal with something like that? It's like being unofficially stuck with a whore, only you have to put up with all the relationship cr@p. Neways, I'd like to hear what other ppl think about this.

Would you commit to staying with one hot girl if she was only interested in your money?

Yes

As long as there is plenty of money to go around & I get some on a regular basis, why not? :p

No. I would promise her everything, use her and then dump her limp body in a dumpster behind McDonalds.

I doubt I'll ever be rich and I'm not good looking at all, so I doubt I'll ever have to make this decision. :p

With that said, hell no I would not be with someone only interested in me for my (hypothetical) money.

No. Because hot ain't all it's cracked up to be. It's the one step or two below hot that are the freaks in the sack and don't need money to keep them by your side.

Well here's what happened: I was with this (somewhat) hot girl, and now she's with some 44 year old rich dude. The whole thing just seems really fvcked up.

This might come as a shock but there are actually good looking women out there who not only will love you for you but who would also work to support you should that become needed to sustain the two of you.

And being rich is the *only* thing that could tempt her away from you? You guys didn't have one problem in your relationship? If she's that shallow, be glad you're free to find someone better.

Actually she was pretty dumb, I just never expected to be traded up for some old dude who sure as hell will need viagra to get her going.

Your looking at things to much. Those are initial attractions. Being initially attracted to someone by their money is no less shallow than guys being initially attracted by looks. Its how the relation develops after that, that is important. Seems like most women are just initially attracted to guys by looks/wealth, nothing wrong with that. Like most guys are initially attracted to women by looks.

My significant other would disagree, and I value her opinion a great deal. Given that she is a few years older than I, we both find this joke arises often (by both of us, actually).

Offering a humorous interlude doesn't constitute a lack of knowledge. Unfortunately, I have far too much knowledge in this arena. Given the earlier turmoil I dealt with, I would gladly exchange some of my experience for a lack of knowledge. It is far easier to learn than to unlearn.
