Assuming you were a college student moving into your firs t(unfurnished) apartment, would you spend $100 on this.

I've got a table and chairs sorta like it, my chairs are green though. I think we paid like $200 for it.

Looks good for $100.

The chairs by themselves I saw at Kmart a couple weeks ago for $30 a piece.

If it comes with the chairs, I wouldn't mind it...where else are you gonna study?

yeah, comes with the chairs, and even if it was badly scratched, I could always refinish it. I grew up with my dad always making things out of wood (cabinets, dressers, tables, garages, etc)

I've got a set kinda like that....'cept the legs on the table aren't as fancy. I paid $75 for it...and it came with a sofa loveseat too. Of course, I'm good friends with the family they came from :) I still think it's a good deal, though. Nice for your new digs ;)

I would. It's damn good for $100. For studying, make sure to get sun-matching bright lights :D

740 sounds pretty big to me...I only know my Condo's area in square meters (stupid Canadian ex-roommate :|)

Yes, that looks pretty nice for $100. It actually looks a lot like the table that is in our kitchen. But, either way, it looks like a good buy for $100.

Nice setup for only $100. I'd go for it. My table is an old table that was my parent's when they were first married and the four chairs are steel chairs from like the 1940's. It is quite an interesting setup.
