I would ditch the login and just make it a link to either a popup or a new page. It still seems kind of busy. I am probably not alone here, but I think service and price dictate 99% of where my business goes. I have used websites much more terrible than this one to save a buck or two. Also keep in mind that many people still love using telephones, for whatever reason. That area is probably out of your hands, but that can make or break a deal.

It looks pretty good.

But every time I see a generic technology consulting firm website I want to punch babies.

Are you a baby?

Actually, our #1 thing is personalized service. People can call us if they want to. We want them to call.

I hate it when sites are formatted for a specific screen width. Make it use the entire width, or at least more than it is now.

Thanks. We just had a flyer designed around the site, so the layout is there to stay for a little while... or at least the feel/graphics.

Any other comments? Site'll be finished today.

The website is done now. Could everyone please let me know their final opinion? Would you purchase from that company?

It looks pretty generic, imo.

I don't even know what you're selling at first glance.

Needs more flaming_skull.gif logos. Other than that, looks professional to me.

I'll be honest... I read your description on the website of what you're selling, but I still can't figure out what it is that you're selling. Although, the people that need your services will know. Heh.

The site looks generic and blends in. It works, but it's nothing special.

Maybe you're working on it right now, but it looks like a high school kid with no knack for design made it.

edit: Okay, you must have been uploading files at the time or something because half of it didn't come up.

It looks so-so. I don't see any flare that makes me want to even READ the site, let alone buy from you. Maybe I'm just having an ADD moment right now, but there's lots of "blah blah blah get to the point" going on in my head right now.

As a consumer, no. As a business owner, probably.

What most people don't realize is that most business transactions, even for IT companies, occur offline. As a company owner, 99.99% of our business has been acquired offline. Most of our clients haven't even looked at our website.

That's not to diminish the value of a quality site of course. It has its place, but many small businesses fall far short of what could be considered an standard.

In summary:

If it's an online retailer, I'd look for the site to be of a certain quality or at least have a lot of references.
If it's a service company, especially local, then I wouldn't give much credence to the site unless it's absolutely horrible. I don't care that my landscaper's website sucks, because he does great work. Our website won't rival Microsoft's, but our work speaks for itself.

Yupp, clean and professional. The only thing that struck me the font is little too big. As if you're trying to fill out the page.

You are an asshole. Site looks good to me!
