Would you buy cable internet from this company?

No - that website is probably indicative of the rest of their service. Plus any company that stresses a religious connection down here usually doesn't last long.

Sure, why not? All I really care about is the quality of service from my internet provider, NOT their website.

I'd certainly check into their customer service: number of customer complaints, outages, delivered speed vs. advertised speed, etc.

It's not like this is in High-Tech Heaven or anything...this is in BFE....ANY internet service is better than none. Their prices seem a bit high to me however. How's the DSL option compare? (I have AT&T DSL Pro for $19/month)

Their account page doesn't look that bad.

I wouldn't want Internet service that slow myself, but at least you're probably not going to get some script jockey from Bangalore when you call for tech support.

My grandfather has a backwater ISP like this where he lives, and it's kind of neat... When you call up support, their head technician answers the phone! You're not going to get that level of service from Charter or Comcast.

It was horrible! My computer was pulsating or something, almost as if it were breathing in and out, exuding that horrible pink. Maybe this poorly lit room is making it worse, but my eyes still haven't 100% adjusted.

Probably not because trhe speeds are horrible. Then again, if DSL was not available and this was my only high speed option? Yes, I guess I would.

Although a broadband card might be the better option.
