Would you buy a 19" CRT?

went from a 15 to a 19. It was absolutely amazing. Never imagined how much of a difference it would make.

I upgraded from a 17" monitor to a 19" monitor and it was well worth it. However if I was doing it now I'd probably go straight to a 21" and you should too, especially if you have a powerful video card like the Radoen 9700 Pro that can drive your games higher than 1600 x 1200 at acceptable speeds.

Not that the 19" is bad by any means and I don't feel it's worth the upgrade to a 21" from a 19" monitor.

okay, i was perfectly happy with 1280x1024 on my 19" at work and at home and now you guys got me self-conscious of it. Now I notice it looks a little "squished". I am trying 1152x864 and it does look more "square" but it looks much bigger. I don't have a 1280x960 option here at work. I'll look for one at home tonight...

Oh yeah, like SuperGroove said, going from a 17 to a 19 isn't too noticeable, until you try to go back to a 17 and you go, how the hell does anyone use those little things?
