I could see being bothered if you banged some random chick, but if it's your existing SO who they presumably know they're being pretty spastic.

Depends. How loud was it? Was it during any kind of pre-wedding ceremonies? Did they walk out of the room naked and dripping various fluids? Did they use a donkey?

You guys aren't helping much... aside from proving my point. I was trying to possibly fathom why someone would be upset about it, and i'm still drawing a complete blank after a week and a half.

It's not like the church had some sentimental value to them. It wasn't either of their churches, and thousands of people have been married there. I wonder how many alter boys have been molested in it...

The service wasn't interrupted in any way at all, and there was literally NOONE in the church when we did it.

If I had to guess...

Perhaps they wanted only good memories about their wedding. "Oh the ceremony was pretty... oh blah blah blah". Now they have to deal with the possibility of "your wedding? Is that the one where bignateyk banged some girl in the basement before the ceremony? Yeah... hilarious stuff"

It's the whole "i want my wedding to be perfect" and that includes guests being on their best behavior. Doing something like that could be seen a disrespectful to the wife and groom.

So they should be equally pissed at god for the giant thunderstorm during the ceremony then. That makes me feel a little better.

the fact that you used the "F" word to describe sex with your SO, shows how much you truly care

wtg!

lol I hope I misinterpreted this... you're joking right? Please tell me my sarcasm meter's broken and that you're not one of those tools that insists that it should be called "making love". Sometimes, it's just a good FUCK that you want. Girlfriend, wife or otherwise.

So...are you implying that because my SO tells me that she wants to "fuck" far more than she wants to "make love" or whatever that she doesn't really care about me? That's one hell of an assumption right there for someone who likes to talk big over the internet.

I can see how they'd be pissed. A wedding is one of the biggest days in your life. You get married in a church, which is a place of reverence and should be treated with respect and then your firend and his nympho girlfriend can't keep it in their pants for the 2 hours they have to spend in the church? That's pretty much a slap in the face.
The reception after the wedding would be a different story. Much more informal and more of a party really. If my friend were to hook up in some broom closet some where at the catering hall or whatever then who cares? Good for him. But in the church? While that's kinky, it's definitely wrong and even more wrong to do so when you're there for a good friend's wedding, regardless if it was in the basement or anywhere else in the church.

I can see how they'd view it as "disrespectful," but they might want to see a proctologist about getting the stick pulled out of their ass if that's the case.
