I glanced over the thread and so no mention of this game, but Dead Rising for the Xbox 360

Basically you are locked in a mall overrun with Zombies and you run around killing as many of them as possible along with some people who have gone crazy or are looting and whatnot. You can opt not to do anything more than kill zombies the whole game if you really want though, but there is a basic story you can follow.

Is that the game where you try to take the best picture of the carnage?

multiplayer would be lame. Your zombie would do about .0012 miles per hour. Unless of course it you could play a faster version of the zombie.. a la the Dawn of The Dead remake.

I'm assuming zombies would be all AI...being a zombie sucks, and since they're stupid it shouldn't be to hard to make their AI work.

I actually bought Dead Rising because that's what I thought it could be if you ignore the missions and such, but it's *so* not a combat game. I was very disappointed.

Valve better hope so

Ahh yes... I completely forgot about Left 4 Dead. Although it is similar I was thinking about a game with a less FPS-centric plot and more about fortifying and survival.

Age of Apocalypse
I would buy it. A Civ type game, but you start just after the nukes went off, and have to gather resources and build cities armies to defend against the zombie hoards. Sprinkle in having to fight with other survivors and you have a cool game.
