i used to not care about where i ate. food is food.

now i enjoy eating at places like McD's even more because apparently it bothers some people.

ooh, i had a buffalo chicken snack wrap!! oh noes, i'm such a fat loser with no taste for good food! someone at AT thinks less of me!!!!11!!1 /self

You enjoy eating there b/c it bothers people? Mental issues?
fuck yeah, i got a laundry list of those 🙂

not that i was serious in my post or anything... hehe

<----- embarrassed to eat there. But the embarrassment isn't really what keeps me from doing so - it's the knowledge of where the beef comes from, how the industry works, and the effects of large scale cattle farming on the environment. Any associated embarrassment isn't from being perceived as poor or whatever, it would come from making a disgusting choice even though I knew better.

No, I wouldn't be embarrassed but I still won't eat there. Ate there for the first time in a few years this past spring, and remembered why I stopped. That was the most disgusting burger in my life, tasted like they just threw it in the microwave and nuked it for the 10th time that day. Ugh.

While my campus McD's isn't as bad due to the food being cooked more recently as a result of high traffic...

I still don't eat there unless I have no other option.

Mcdonalds=Gut rot. Seriously. Every time I have eaten there in the past few years I have wanted to throw up afterwards.
Does your mommy tuck you in after you have your little episode and tummy ache?

I would rather commit suicide than post in a parody thread.

Too late! You must now end yourself, preferably by forcing yourself to eat McDonald's kids meals until you lose the will the live.

Some people don't get how some people can eat there like it is nothing. Some people would rather kill their self than have to eat at a fast food restaurant like McDonalds. (Because they fear if they eat there it'd be a homicide, death by burger).

Maybe it is because I have been eating healthy foods all my life, and don't know what it is like to be hungry.

Honestly? It's delicious. That's why I wouldn't be embarrassed to eat there.

i think the food there is awful, meh.

Over time I realized that for the same amount of money I could by something else that tasted better. The only compromise was that I had to be willing to wait a bit longer for my food to get to me.

I haven't eaten at one in a long time cause most of the time when I go, I go alone. Thus, I use to hide away at my cubicle while eating. Not that I was embarassed...

When I absolutely need a soda from outside, their XLG $1 (diet, that would be a lot of sugar if it wasn't) is a good deal. Also, their $1 McChickens are decent if you need some sort of cheap food while away from home. But, all fast food restaurants have ridiculously low quality products, so I try to avoid them.

EDIT: Before everyone gets their panties in a bunch because of aspartame, know that aspartame > high fructose corn syrup.

Few things depress me more than seeing old people (I mean old - 70-80) eating at McDonald's. Other than that, I think old convenience store clerks top the list. The the that motivated me to write my college essays was talking to the clerk at my local CVS - she looks 50 or so and when she mentioned that she used to be a cheerleader for my high school, I thought "oh fuck this."

I actually prefer McDonalds to all other fast food restaurants in my area. :-\ Obviously no, not embarrassed.
