Would Thousand Island dressing be as popular if it werent for the Big Mac?

I think the problem is they really pile it on, so all you end up tasting is sauce. I like the big mac sauce but I ask them to go easy on it.

That might be it.

Any condiment, dressing or sauce can overwhelm a sandwich or dish when too much is used.

Even my favorites like ketchup or hot sauce.

Yes. If the recipies are to be believed, its a form of Miracle Whip + French Dressing.

Thousand Island dressing is horrendous, except on Big Macs.

Blue cheese and Caesar, all the way.

This, except trade out Blue Cheese with Parmisian vinagrette.
