Ladies and Gentlemen,
We already have a perpetual energy source. It's called, the sun. You should invest all of your thoughts away from perpetual motion devices because they don't exist
on the terrestrial front. Very noble of course, all of your ideas are valueable to be sure. Now, I cant stand this phrase, but "what if" All of the solar energy that is absorbed on this
Earth was harnessed. Sunlight is everywhere at least for a half day. So much energy just wasted, seems a shame. I vote (and this is my opinion only) to focus all of the worlds great minds to developing one (or many) solar collector(s) that would power everything. And I mean everything. Cars, Buildings, houses, boats, childrens toys, computers.
I would like to hear anyone's thoughts on this.

There are many ways we can harness the sun's energy - and we are already using one to supply ourselves with not-inconsiderable amounts of electricity - the hydroelectric dam.
