Would newer AGP cards (GF3 or ATI) work in an old BH6?

I'm running a Celeron 1GHz w/ Asus slocket. I'm happy with it, but my old Voodoo 3 appears to be the weakest link now. I wonder if I can put a better - yet reasonably priced - video card in that system, but I don't know if all AGP things are the same.

The ATI will work. I couldn't get my GF2ti (Gainward) to work in either my Soyo SYBA+ (BX) or my old Gigabyte (LX) board, both with 2X AGP slots. Your mileage may vary, but my Radeon worked in both.
