Would Muslims be banned from entering the new World Trade Center?

No, I believe you do....you are the one lumping all muslims into terrorists, not me. So again, any proof that all of Islam are terrorists?

We'll be waiting for your next deflection or outright ignore of this. Because everyone else here knows you don't have any, but that you are just another scared bigot.

You're a stark example of the bigoted filth I was responding to in the first place.

The USA shows more and more everyday that it isn't meant for anyone but bible thumping racists.

Quick, lets rush to hate and shit on the American People who are upset over the death and destruction wrought upon them. I'm sure that'll calm things down and heal the wound in our land. You on the Left make it clear that the OP is not alone in his bigotry towards the US.

What about a mosque?

Or a community center?

Neither are by their definitions, "businesses."

But, no, I personally don't think either would be appropriate for the WTC...however, if they opted to build them a couple of blocks away...it should be fine.

LOL at the audacity and truly amazing ignorance that is required for this post.

So I am a bigot for supporting US law in allowing free American's to build whatever they want as long as it follows locals laws/ordinances. This group has every right to build whatever they want. Something you obviously can't comprehend.

Would you like to try an explain your appalling lack of logic?

You blame ALL of Islam for the actions of ~20 men. That's bigotry, as clear as it can be. You are the bigot here, as many other have already told you.

So would like to explain in a logical manner how you came to this amazing revelation that all Muslims are to blame for 9/11? Or will you deflect and ignore, knowing all the while that you can't answer the question.

It's funny, all you bigots somehow always forget to show why you think the way you do when asked, preferring to either deflect, insult or just ignore. I wonder why?

You do realize that most people objecting to the mosque don't question the legality of their right to build there right?

So they just want to stop it based on their hatred?

Just what valid reason is there to prevent it?

And what reason is there to prevent the building of mosques in other states of the US?
Link

What is your answer? If it's legal, then why are all these people trying to stop multiple buildings being built across the US? Are you going to pull out the 9/11 excuse for TN and CA?

Are you going to do the "Muslims are terrorsts" meme again?

Clearly there's been a concerted effort in other jurisdictions to stop Mosques. This particular one though has an extra Emotional Appeal that makes it a great way to Publicly and loudly proclaim one's objections without looking like a Tool. Well, that's the thought anyway.

Guessing the same feelings are in the humans in countries we have ravaged.. we just buy or install our own governments there to keep the people down.

How is seeing all sides in a story now termed Bigotry ... I thought this country was so great because we could see all sides.. sadly.. regimes come in and rile up the lowest common denominator to get elected and now the whole country is upside down.

What caused 9/11 -- did ANY of the policies this nation has (using your taxes and votes) create any of it...

Are we doing things today in those same areas of the world (filled with the most valuable resources) that will piss off people and create another 9/11

Feelings vs Reality .. sort of sounds like a religious argument.

Religious people felt:

Blacks should be their slaves
People who didn't believe in their fairy tales were witches and they burned them alive
start wars all the time

Exactly.

They hate all Muslims, this just gives a thin veneer of false patriotism to cover the underlying reason of pure hatred and bigotry.

Active U.S. Hate Groups

The Southern Poverty Law Center counted 932 active hate groups in the United States in 2009. Only organizations and their chapters known to be active during 2009 are included.

And during their rallies, you will see them all waving American flags

Rioting over the Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_the_Jyllands-Posten_Muhammad_cartoons_controversy

fatwa's such as the one against Slaman Rushdie over a book they didn't like.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salman_Rushdie

On 14 February 1989, a fatwā requiring Rushdie's execution was proclaimed on Radio Tehran by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the spiritual leader of Iran at the time, calling the book "blasphemous against Islam" (chapter IV of the book depicts the character of an Imam in exile who returns to incite revolt from the people of his country with no regard for their safety). A bounty was offered for Rushdie's death, and he was thus forced to live under police protection for years afterward. On 7 March 1989, the United Kingdom and Iran broke diplomatic relations over the Rushdie controversy.

And of course the all the hijackings, beheadings, bombings (remember the marine barracks) , and don't forget the WTC which started this mess.

One has to look at the big picture, and to me it looks like the leaders of Muslims are using their religion as an excuse to make us change our way of life to suit their agenda. I fully supported going into Afganistan and kicking ass, but Bush jumped the gun on Iraq.

I think that many Muslims in the world are taught from a young age to hate Jews and Americans. I wonder if Westerners are naive in their beliefs that there are some radical Muslims and the rest are "good" Muslims. Thats besides the point...No Muslims should not be banned from having a community center near ground zero. But I wouldn't mind having the individual who applied for this site be investigated more.

It goes further than that. Terror muslims are not real muslims. All muslims actually have the souls of cuddly ewoks and could never do anything bad. Mosques preach a very enlightened way of life that preaches tolerance for all people and ideas and equality for men and women.

Yea Muslims definately do have a peaceful vision for Europe once they become the majority on that continent.

Protest in Belgium when one of the Belgian politicians said that some Islamic nations kill Homosexuals [which is a fact]-

Same protest but in another European country, this time some people in the Netherlands felt they needed to chime in-

Some pics from the 2006 Muhammed Cartoon protest in the UK which you linked already but here they are again. Words say a thousand words. There is even a NINJA present in this one!-

More peaceful pics here - http://www.hoax-slayer.com/muslim-protest-london.shtml
And it explains if these pics are fake or not since some people found it unbelievable Muslims protest like this in Europe [quick answer- they do].

Anyways, that is definately some religion of peace going on there! And wow everyone in this thread is right to...Us Americans sure are intolerant! Whats next, our intolerance will allow a massive mosque to be built in NYC ?? Oh wait...

Stupid troll thread this is. Sorry if all you "enlightened" individuals educated beyond your intelligence don't see the nuance of why many of us including myself object to them building this Mosque so close to WTC, even though I agree they have the right to build. It has nothing to do with bigotry and everything to do with decency, class, and respect.

No objection to them working, walking, visiting, going about their normal American lives in the new WTC. I just want to deny radical Islam abroad their victory trophy that might be used to inspire future generations of Islamic terrorists. And peonyu's post a couple slots above on some of the European muslim community's overreaction to a cartoon parody of their prophet should scare the daylights out of any normal person. Frankly, I don't want that on our shores.

I agree with you in principle but America was founded with the idea that freedom to express yourself is ultimately more important than giving people a warm fuzzy feeling.

Thats why I think I should be allowed to say great person even if folks are personally offended by it. Ultimately their emotions have to take 2nd place. And the implied political ramifications also have to take 2nd place to the very real use of politics they are using the express themselves. And as has already been pointed out, popular speech doesnt even need protection. Its the unpopular variety that has to get government to fight for it.

Having said all that: You'd have to be a fucking moron to do this. Do they honestly think the pissed off Irish and Italians arent going to make their lives hell? Am I the only person who knows how cruel New Yorkers are?
I would not be at all surprised if this ends in fire bombs and riots. Seriously, I can see it coming.
