Would like to know more inforamtion on Wireless Routers

Hi, I am new to making wireless networks and such and I have no clue about the basics of wireless routing. Now, my main concern deals with printers. I have a computer upstairs with no printer. However, my dad downstairs has a computer with a LaserJet printer. If I want to print anything from my upstairs computer, I have to put it on floppy and go down and then print it. I was wodnering how am I able to print straight from my computer to his printer. I know you need a router, but what else do I need to buy, like a wirless card for both machines. Can somebody please explain to me the details of being able to print from another computer. Or if possible there is a great website that will allow me to learn from their tutorials or something like that. I have a Best Buy gift card for a $100 so I guess I am willing to pay that amount, but how much does it normally cost to setup a wireless printer connection. Thank YOu for your help. BYE

U will need a wireless router/hub and two PCI wireless cards. After U install, you will then have to set up a home network. Depending on what systems your running will depend on the difficulty range. As far as the hundered dollars are concerned. Nope... not gonna do it. The wireless G Router and cards will cost about $295. If you can hard wire that will bring the price down considerable. Like the 80 dollar range. I have a setup that was never used for about $75. (linksys)
 
Well ya can go a b wireless router and 2 b cards and get away for about 100.
Fairly simple after their connected...just share the printer in print propertys and you should be good to go.
I just setup a wireless router behind a wired router, and was having some problems. Belkin(wireless router) answered the free tech call and worked for an hour to the end. My wireless card(d-link) was off brand and they (Belkin support) still worked with me.
Fairly impressive in this day and age.
