Would it piss you off if your neighbors park in front of your house?

Reason I ask is because, well, my neighbors have friends/family/whatever that occasionally come over and park right in front of our house..

It's a stupid thing to get pissed off about, but what the hell, I don't get why whenever people visit them they park in front of MY house and I never see cars parked in front of their house.

Yes, especially if they have room in front of theirs. Otherwise, they just have lots of people over, and they're parking in the street, which is techinically the street's problem. When they block my driveway though, it becomes my problem, and thus, a problem

If I lived in a place where people normally parked on the curb, then no. I wouldn't get bent out of shape about it.

However, I live in the country. If people parked in front of my house, then one of two things would be happinging: 1) they would be completely blocking one lane of our road, or 2) they would be parking in my yard. If either would be the case, I would be upset.

If it's over holidays like 4th of July and happens only a few times a year, no problem. It's when the dumbasses with an old limo, a Hummer, a Yukon, and several sedans take up every damned spot in the culdesac and do it every day.

If my neighbors were jerks about it, I'd go out, buy a dozen $200 cars, register and insure them, and park them all in front of their house. Once a week, I'd shuffle the order of the cars.

Both my neighbors park their cars rather close to our driveway, and it does bug me sometimes. If they leave me enough room to comfortably turn into my driveway it's okay, but if I have to worry about somehow hitting their car (not a bad driver, but...) i get annoyed.

I'm also afraid of messing their car up when I'm mowing the lawn and turning the lawn mower.

we have a church across the street. whenever they have something going on i get 2-5 cars parking in my yard. grr

In your situation I'd be a bit ticked off because they have space in front of their own house. Unless they have a very good reason for doing so, that's just disrespectful.

my neighbor got mad at my family (well, he always is) when my friend parked his big ol' Chevy 2500 pickup w/ long bed on the side of the road opposite his driveway (at the begining of a culdesac). He couldn't backin his usual way, and he gave us he biggest meat mug ever. Made me happy.

The road in front of my house is a state highway. If someone parks on it they're going to be totalled in about 30 seconds.

If I didn't have a driveway and garage, and my only parking was in front of my house, then yes, I'd make sure it stopped.

I live on a cul-de-sac too and the neighbors at the end of my street have a 4 bedroom house and 7 cars. 4 in the drive, 3 in the street. That doesn't annoy me as much as the guy that used to park his piece o crap junk heap in front of my house. People would actually ask me does that POS belong to you? UHHGG City living stinks.

It would only bother me if it happened all the time and there was parking elsewhere. If somebody is having a party and ppl. park in front of your house who cares.

Their friends probably park in front of your house because your house is on the right side of the road in the direction they're coming from.

I called the police on a neighbor parked out on the street for 4+ weeks with no movement.

As has been mentioned here many times, the street in front of your house is public property, and anyone can park there, as long as they do so legally. HOWEVER, if they encroach even one inch into your driveway, you have the right to have the cops come out and they will either ticket the car or even tow it...(depends on the cop, and how much of the driveway they have blocked) OR, you could man-up and be a good neighbor, and just ask them to to move the car.
