...to keep the coat from a beloved pet that died of natural causes?
For example, if you had a northern dog breed, it would make an incredible, warm and gorgeous throw (think of russell crowe in gladiator before he leads his army) or blanket.
I just randomly thought about it last night, and it seems like it is such a waste to just cremate or bury your pet, but at the same time, I can't decide if it would be weird or not to keep the coat.
*Note: I grew up in the country, so killing and skinning animals, keeping deer heads, etc... is not an unusual concept in and of itself.
