Would I be able to go on AIM and/or ATOT in China?

i think so. not blocked the last time i went in '02. i went on at a hotel if that matters any. havent tried local internet cafes, i suspect they probably arent blocked either. in fact, i dont recall being blocked from any sites i normally visit at all in china. including several forums, cnn, msnbc, nba, and some other, smaller sites.

went on in shanghai, beijing, xi'an, guilin, and hong kong. all seemed fine. didnt exactly like using some of the chinese windows though, i couldnt read it. lol.

I still talk to my ex-GF on AIM sometimes. She's in HK.

Funny story, she came here as an exchange student. Went back to visit her parents and to renew her visa but her grades were bad...stuck in HK ever since '02.
