I'd try it. I honestly don't if I've had goat milk, but I love goat-based cheeses and goat meat.

Have you added some fresh, crushed cardamom to coffee/espresso (to the grounds, before brewing) before? It can be damn good (only a few small seeds), but I wouldn't have it every day.

It's a Turkish method, I think...or similar. I imagine that one in this region, if they were to add milk to coffee, would likely use goat milk. ...so that's a random suggestion hat I am making based on wild speculation of how goat milk might possibly work with coffee.

:hmm:

When I lived in Greece we drank our coffee with small amounts of goat's milk. Like a tablespoon because that shit can be strong.

I don't like cream or milk in my coffee. It waters down the coffee. I also don't like weak coffee. I like coffee that has a good strong taste, with some bitterness. Not sweat and creamy .... fvck that!

Goat's milk is supposed to be sweet isn't it? Seems like it should be decent in coffee. I prefer mine black though.

nope, not enough fat. Milk for coffee need PHAT
The amount of fat in the milk is as much a function of the animal's diet as it is of the animal. That said, goat milk generally as plenty of fat. And, the fat molecules are smaller and more easily digested by humans.

But, I like my coffee black. If light will pass through the stream of coffee while I'm pouring a cup, then it's not strong enough. God forbid light should pass through the entire glass pot of coffee, aka water with some coffee impurities in it.

I don't like goat cheese. Awful stuff. I've heard it described as foisty, musty flavoured. So no, I wouldn't put goat milk in my morning tea.

It isn't bad. It also isn't that great. Goatmilk is low fat - so its more like using water in the coffee. Full-fat cows milk cream is awesome in coffee though.

Goat cheese is great. Goat's milk yogurt is very good. Goat's milk has a lot of the goat still in it. I can't say it's one of my favorites because the goat flavor is so strong.

My wife after I talked her into trying some goat's milk yogurt, "Well, now I know what it would taste like to lick a goat's balls."

How the milk is handled and what the goats are fed can greatly affect the flavor. As far as saying "goat cheese", that's pretty silly. That's like saying "I like cow cheese." Really? What kind of cow cheese do you mean? Swiss? Cheddar? Colby? Munster? Mozzarella? Parmesan? Limberger? (Just to name a few of the best known in the US, out of 100's of types of cow cheese; the last on the list to illustrate the point that there are types of cow cheese that most people won't even try.) There are just as many varieties of goat cheese as there are cow cheese.

And, fudge made with goat's milk beats fudge made with cow milk any day.

Goat milk is no more low fat than dairy milk. The fat content is essentially the same.

Realistically, how hard it is to own one or more goats.

I've always been interested in it.
