Trolling stupidity even below the level of P&N. Yes, there are stupider threads made, but the OP's seem to actually believe in them, bless their pointy little heads.

No. George Patton was one of the best generals this country has ever seen and a good general knows better than to slap his commander in chief. What a fucking idiotic thread.

For all we know he was a hardcore racist.
Maybe he'd quit if a black man were president.

he has a My Little Pony fetish. what did you expect?

I had no idea there was pony porn until he joined the kingdom of crap and started posting the weirdest shit I've ever seen. I had never even considered the idea that some people get off on livestock.

I was also going to answer the OP, but it's a pretty stupid question.

Patton wasn't even the best general in France, much less WWII. William Simpson was one hundred times the commander Patton was, and his actions away from command generated no headlines.

I've never understood this bizarre fetishism for having some general 'school' Obama or slap him or whatever. It has come up repeatedly and it's pretty gross.

One of the single best things about the US is that we have NEVER let our military get to a place where it is out of control of civilian authority. A quick look around the world at other militaries that have should be a quick lesson as to why that's a very good thing.

I don't care how much you hate Obama, when he gives an order the only thing anyone should want our generals to say is 'yes sir'.

That would never happen. Patton was a US Army general. He knew his place in the command and, like the CinC or not, he'd show him the respect due a man in that position.
He MIGHT resign his command if he disagreed strongly enough with policy...but strike his Commander? Not fucking likely.

Yes and then obama would have ran away like a coward.

You're wrong it would then be ok for Obama to stand his ground and gun down this hooligan.

Its a silly question, Patton came from a military family. He was groomed to be a leader of warriors. There is no chance of him striking a commander.
