And that's why it's way more exciting when the 7th batter who is 1 - 5 with a fly out knocks it out of the park! Or just gets on base and then then 8th batter comes up and knocks it out. It's baseball, anything can and does happen. Adding additional ways to score will screw the game up more than George Steinbrenner ever did.

there's absolutely nothing wrong about the difference between a game ending 5-3 with 2 runners stranded on base, or a walk-off homer winning the game 5-6. scoring on base would completely dilute all the excitement that is baseball.

It would cease to be a game of strategy and 1v1 duels, and simply be crickett without the gay terminology.

You must not watch any games on TV. just about every camera crew in the league scopes out the hot chicks in the crowd and consistently gives them solid air time throughout.
