Would something like Bulimia or Aneorexia be a disease, or is it just a dumb choice that is someones own fault?

I'll get back to you once I figure out how the brain works.

Aneorexia, much like alcoholism and homosexuality, is simply the result of a lack of willpower.

Anything that requires inner strength to overcome can be called a disease these days. My laziness is a disease. Your drinking is a disease. Bob's bad temper is, too.

I'd be more akin to call anorexia/bulemia a disease (mental illness, anyway) than overeating, which has a simpler cause. Anorexics are screwed in the head, whereas overeaters are just lazy.

Mental illness (or a symptom of it.) Leads to other diseases, though, if it's untreated.
