Would an ATI 8500 oem be the same thing as an ATI 8500 white box?

I think that it is but at guru3d they have the white box ones under their retail catagory at the end of their 8500 review.

OEM is commonly called white box, so it probably is.

could be NO.
vendors use "OEM" for both oem and bulk/bare/white box.
if they claim it's "white box", it should be bulk/bare card made by the original manufacturer, not 3rd party manufacturer.
