Actually a HS had a African American president or somthing liek that with a REG. president that ANYBODY could run for. Well a White kid FROM SOUTH AFRICA was recruited by some HS republicans to run.

Needless to say the school was NOT happy and tried to or did suspend them.

But if you are white then your race is whit, if you are black your race is black, etc... No German american, african american, jap.... etc... Its RACE, not your familys history.
My parents were born in america and so was I, so I am a white guy that is american, period.

A friend of mine is Indian in descent but was raised in Zimbabwe until she moved to the U.S. Her father is Indian descent from England. What should she be labeled? 😉

I currently work with two white Africans but I don't call them african american or american, I just call them by their name. At my last job one of my good friends there was black and south african and same then there, I just called him by his name. We all came from somewhere, no sense in my eyes to define that, we're all people.

Only if they're of Dutch ancestry. White South Africans are either Afrikaans (Dutch) or British (forget the term?) Completely different accents.
