I happen to work with a White South African and a Black South African. They both consider themselves african american.
 
If a South African and his wife move to the US, and have children that are born here, are the kids African-American?

Nah, like I said, he was doing the experiment to see if he could microwave a burrito so hot that even he could not eat it. Turns out he can and he has to let it cool for a few years before he can eat it.
 
if the 'native' african americans of the us were getting a title switch to black american that would bring up the race card again.

im american indian and im starting to notice on forms we dont even have a bubble to fill in anymore.

According to Genetics, everyone on Earth is African in descent... so all Americans are African American.
