Heck no. Having that much money (my perception of a "sh!tload of money, at least) would only crate newer problems.

No. But it would pay off my bills and buy me all the camera equipment I want.

I think so.
Most things are cool in my life, except that I don't have money to travel/move in the city/buy a car. Money would allow me to do that!!

no, it is relative. imagine eveyone had 10,000 more income per year. Then to be happy most of the people on this board would still require more money to solve their "problems". It turns out that people like to live at a higher standard than they can afford and thus there is a lot of debt. I think if the majority of the people answering "yes" had more money they would simply have more crap and the same exact problems.

If they somehow obtained a sh!tload of money off of a tree or something they would probably still have problems like feeling inferior because they didn't earn the money. Once you obtain a lot of money it becomes harder to tell who your real friends are, the advantage of being poor is that you no doubt know who your friends are.

My point is that anyone, money or no money, can have problems. Most problems, I think, are really not that important, we choose to blow things out of proportion. Money does not solve the real problems for most people.

Let's see, I'd say that when he mentions a sh!tload of money, I'd wager that I've either;

a. landed a steady, well-paying job, or,
b. won the lottery

a. If I have such a job, I'd wager that in order to keep the job, I'd have to constantly be working to ensure that i don't lost said job, and do it at the expense of other things.

b. If I had won the lottery, "friends" would come out of the woodwork asking for "proof of my friendship".

(Most) People spend money to scale - have you noticed that you're broke regardless of what kind of job you have? If so, you're one of them. Congrats.

And as for anything, it boils down to this: If you have nothing, you have everything to gain. If you have everything, you have everything to lose.

And how does that apply to money? It's not that hard. ;)

it would solve a few problems... and maybe leave me with enough time to solve the others on my own.
