Would a 6850 be bottlenecked by a Q8200 at 3.3GHZ?

Maybe, but my 6850 performs much better for me than the 4870 it replaced, on a E8400 at the stock 3.0 GHz. It also runs cooler and quieter.

at that res yes it will be held back in some games but nothing too bad. at that res I would probably go with a gts450/5770 level of card if money is a concern at all.
